What exactly is the Naramata Clothes Library (NCL)?

The NCL is a self-sustaining, community thrift store. It helps to serve the community by offering great quality, second hand clothes at affordable prices while also offering a place to donate unwanted clothes. Keeps clothes in Naramata for Naramata!

How is this different than the clothing sale during the annual garage sale?

The Naramata Clothes Library is now its own entity, and will take the place of the clothes sale moving forward. Imagine a year round clothes sale;) Same great stuff, same great prices, all year long!!!

How will clothes be priced?

$5 Bags: Traditional clothing sale prices still remain at $5/grocery bag.

2) Annual Membership: For $100/year you can purchase a NCL membership which grants the holder access to unlimited shopping for their family ALL YEAR! 

How does the school benefit?

The NCL will donate a portion of the proceeds from all yearly membership purchased by Naramata Elementary SCHOOL (NES) families Shop for your family and contribute to the school at the same time. WIN/WIN! AMAZING 💗

How can I help?

DONATE:  As clothes get purchased, we always have a need for more!  Please donate your gently used clothes to the NCL.  (**items with holes, stains or tears do get discarded). (See the NCL Upcoming Schedule for times/dates to drop off).

SORTING:  Before we can welcome the community to come shop, we need some volunteer hours to assist with the task of sorting. 

We have several blocks of time set each week where you’re welcome to come help sort (See the NCL Upcoming Schedule). Or, if you and your  bubble want to come help at a different time, Yanti will coordinate access. 

BONUS PERK FOR SORTING VOLUNTEERS:  if you find any clothes you love while volunteering, you're welcome to fill your own $5 bag (or buy your $100 family membership) and take home those treasures as you find them!
